Marc Egort, CPA
Marc began his career over 20 years ago in a Fort Lauderdale home health care agency where he worked as a finance and reimbursement manager. That experience led him to work for a boutique South Florida CPA firm that provided accounting services as well as tax preparation and consulting to the home health care industry where he practiced for 8 years and became an industry leader in Medicare home health reimbursement, cost finding, and cost reporting. In 1999 he opened his own practice and serves clients from a variety of industries providing business support such as accounting services as well as compliance and tax services for small and medium size businesses in South Florida and all across the United States.
Marc received his Bachelor of Science in Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and has a Masters Degree in Accounting from Nova University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Marc has been playing drums for over 30 years and performs regularly with a local cover band. He is a practitioner of the martial arts with over 25 years of training in Chung Do Kwon/Tae Kwon Do. He lives in Hollywood Florida with his wife and their son.
Rebecca Umschweis, CPA
Rebecca began her career in the Audit and Assurance practices of Ernst & Young, LLP, where she gained experience in many areas including auditing, financial reporting and technical accounting issues. During her career she has held several financial management and accounting director positions with multimillion dollar companies including Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Wyndham Worldwide, Bluegreen Resorts, and Kaplan Online. She has served as consultant specializing in the areas of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and risk management. Rebecca obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Fischer School of Accounting at the University of Florida, and her Masters degree in Accounting from Florida International University.
Lucero Revilla, Administrator
Lucero serves as the office administrator and addresses all front line client matters while also processing client data entry such as payroll and book keeping. Lucero is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
